What Kind of Life Are You Living – Godly And Worldly Kind

What Kind of Life Are You Living

Since the downfall of the first man (Adam) in the Garden of Eden through the deceiver (the devil, serpent), the living (existing) of mans life becomes of two kinds on the surface of this earth. On this ground comes the question “what kind of life are you living”The two kinds of life are;

  • Godly kind of life.
  • Worldly kind of life.

The Godly Kind of Life.

This is the kind of life that I refer to as “transformer”. The Godly kind of life transforms other lives that come in contact with it in a positive direction. It changes a life of negativity to positivity through the words of God. In other words, is that life that portrays the trace of our Lord Jesus Christ. This Godly life exhibits the traces at all time and cost. In the Bible book of Act (2: 37 -38), the Bible says. “These words of Peter moved them deeply and they said to him and the other Apostles: brothers, what should we do? And Peter replied each of you must turn from sin, return to god and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then, you also shall receive this gift, the Holy Spirit (LFB)”.

What Kind of Life Are You Living - Godly And Worldly Kind

From the scripture above, the lives of the Apostles transform the lives of the people (crowed) that were around them at that particular time. This is because; they exhibit the trace (character) of Jesus Christ in them.

The You in You

Your face beauty and handsomeness is deceptive. The character you display in your day to day activities is the very you in you. In addition, it proves the kind of life you are living whether of the Godly kind of life or that of the worldly kind.

I presume, when Jesus said unto the disciples, one of you will betray me. They all said to one another: is it you? They all reply to each other no. Again, they all said to one another is it what is in your face that is also in your mind? And they all say yes. It should be noted that the you in you (character) is like a cloth that is spread out in the sun. It cannot be hidden from the faces of those that pass by. As such, when the time for Judas the Iscariot to spread its own cloth (character) on the sun came, he couldn’t hide it. This is because; it is the he that is in him.

Effects of  A Godly Kind of Life

If your lifestyle or kind of life is not affecting others in the positive (Godliness) way then, something is wrong in your life. Trace your steps back and correct it. The Bible says “you are the light of the world. A city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. Don’t hide your light let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see so that they will praise your heavenly father. (Matth 5:14 – 16 LFB).

From the scripture above, it is very vivid that a Christian life ought not to be like the life of those that are in the world (unbelievers) in all ramification of life. This is because the Bible says “be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God” (Rom 12:2 KJV).
